The Artist “Major Wayy”!
Born on Halloween (10/31) Deyzhane Shadey Hill also known as “Major Wayy” is the daughter of Deemo Da Pro and Jessica. Major Wayy is the baby on both sides of the family. Major Wayy is her mother Jessica’s only child and the baby of three on her father’s side “Deemo Da Pro”. Major Wayy was born at Beth Israel Hospital located on the lower East Side of Manhattan, New York.
Major Wayy's first job was as a merchandising associate. During her initial employment she would fall in love with her current position and further a career of 4 years plus in visual merchandising. Major Wayy says “Aside from the performing arts - I’m also paving a way to bring mental health awareness into the Hip Hop community”.
Major Wayy latest project is her new single that was released on April 1st, 2022 - titled “Missunderstood”. In June 2022 the artist herself will be attending L.O.U.D Musik Press Junket in Houston, Texas. Being that Deem Da Pro is an emcee; Major Way feels that it is important that she writes her own lyrics.
Her music style of choice is the Hip Hop and R&B vibe of inspiration. Where there’s the rapper/singer collaboration that Major Wayy’s prefer to be in tune with. Examples of music selection given by Major Wayy were:
