Spill It Ent. was in the building where Big Boss Vette held her EP "Resilience" listening event in New York City at Republic Records. Big Boss Vette, rapper from St. Louis Missouri gained widespread attention with her viral hit song "Pretty Girl Walk" However, her journey has had some ups and downs, as she shared her inspiring story of perseverance after being shot during a fight, which slowed down her music career, but didn’t stop her from pushing the pen. The event showcased her musical talent but also showed her bubbly and humble demeanor, showing everyone that came and supported love.
The EP played all night and each track gave energy of resilience,while also giving the girls something to bop to and dance with their other homegirls. RESILIENCE has seven brand new songs, with the stand out tracks being “Get It” and “Another One”
Republic records and her team also did a great job helping provide the vibe. There were signature cocktails for the guests to enjoy, and also a photo booth, ping pong table, and a basketball rim to shoot hoops.
The support from fellow female rappers like Maiya The Don, Steph G, and BreezyLYN, further showed the unity within the female rap community, highlighting the importance of collaboration and women empowerment.
