Produced by DOLO P, “GODSPEED” is a freestyle in which CHYTOWN said everything that needed to be said in less than two minutes. In the song she raps about the highs and lows that come with being an independent artist. CHYTOWN uses her pen to tell a relatable story of pushing through challenges in both the industry and life. "This song is inspired by growth and consistency and the fight to get where you really want to be in life." She says. CHYTOWN also raps about battling the norms of society while racing to succeed in her career, explaining to us that distancing yourself is the only way to take the lead!
How this song came to be goes back to 2022. Returning from a tour in Virginia, CHYTOWN crossed paths with producer DOLO P. They stayed in contact, and as their work relationship blossomed over time ,“GODSPEED” was born. “To me, “GODSPEED” means in God’s time and at his pace.”
