Spillit Entertainment can now add Latin Music to its media coverage portfolio.

On June 24th I joined MLM entertainment in Ridgewood at TV Eye to catch a vibe while listening to Latin tunes and eating my favorite guilty pleasure, nachos. This Indie Latin Music event was my first along with MLM ent. I’m hoping it won’t be my last. After stuffing my face with freshly made nachos prepared by the TV Eye cooks, I washed it with a nice cup of cider that came free with a complimentary drink ticket. An event curated by MLM entertainment A&R Dessi Nitti was highly anticipated especially with the focus on a genre that hasn’t been tapped into. Although MLM entertainment has covered many different genres of music including Rock N Roll, as a man of Latin descent Mike Loco the CEO of MLM entertainment thought a concert of this magnitude was not only fitting but long overdue.

Although we had artist Goldy Boy headline the show due to his none attendance Mike Loco and Dessi took the initiative and added some surprise guests. Added to the Latin Music fusion concert we had hip-hop artists X-yle, Ladi Bree, Migs718, and Banks and roses society accompanied Latin artists Dionni 6x and Richie to create a show full of excitement.

Richie

I had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with artist Richie a Latin artist from Camden New Jersey by way of the Bronx, New York. He spoke about his love for the Latin community and its culture. Richie also spoke about visiting his second home Dominican Republic to film his new video for his upcoming new single “I want it all” a Dembow mix.

Listen to the full interview here.

Dionni 6x

I also had the opportunity to sit down with up incoming artist Dionni 6x from the Dominican Republic. We got touched on everything from becoming a New Yorker and being one of the many women that are taking the Reggaeton scene by storm. We also got to speak on her newly released video for her single “La Cartera” which is a two-part movie video.

Listen to the full interview here.

After an amazing night in Ridgewood Queens full of Latin influence, good food, good drinks, and even better company. I'm more than ready and willing to be involved in another Latin Fusion event. I finally have somewhere to freely try out my bachata skills, lol.
