Mulatto controversy

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

So, apparently the young rapstress has been going through it. As her name and image gets big, the controversy gets bigger. Mulatto aka Big Latto has been catching some recent flack about her name's meaning, and to make it worse, there are rumors floating around stating that she believes colorism never existed!

What??? No, I absolutely do not believe the hype. Unfortunately, though, the 'In N Out' rapper has been in and out of drama, constantly having to defend herself.

"I can't say too much because we're working on something right now, but I would be lying to say it hasn't crossed my mind before," she told the outlet. "It is a controversy that I hear and see every day as far as my name goes, so I would be lying to say no I never thought of that. But I can't say too much because right now, it's going to be a part of something bigger."

She explains to fans that her name, while seeming to be offensive, was chosen to be 'flipped'  around and used in positivity.

The 'Queen Of Da Souf' artist and her managerial team seem to be taking I'm consideration of some of the backlash, hinting on a possible name change.

So, guys, do you believe she should change her name, or are people just being too sensitive?
