On Nov. 30, the Starz hit show, Power Book lll : Raising Kanan held an exclusive premiere in New York City ahead of its season three debut.
The event was star studded including cast members Patina Miller, Mekai Curtis, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Joey Bada$$, Hailey Kilgore, Antonio Ortiz, Wendell Pierce, and more.
The season picks up where the wild second season left off in Jamaica, Queens following the Mob’s hit on Raq, Marvin, and Lou-Lou. Raquel “Raq” is nursing a gunshot wound in the hospital. But her injury is the last thing she has to worry about. Still having to deal with the truth about who Detective Malcolm Howard (Omar Epps) really is to him, Kanan has completely iced Raq out. It's clear that it's tension and sides, and just off the first episode alone, we are in for a bumpy ride .
